Brad’s love for music led him to Temple Sinai of Glendale, where together with Cantor Steve Hummel, he developed a musical service called Shabbat 150, drawing inspiration from the 150th Psalm which praises God through music.  

 

A contemporary music service bridges traditional Jewish themes and ancient teachings with passages and experiences of contemporary Jewish life.  Brad’s unique improvisational piano style, originating from years on the rock circuit brings fresh, new excitement to the contemporary songs of Debbie Friedman, Craig Taubman, Julie Silver and Jeff Klepper to name a few.

 

While never forgetting the traditional, Brad’s heartfelt and spirited accompaniment supports the prayer song leader, clergy and assorted percussion, strings and guitar on these prayers, hymns and nigunim.   To their prayer service, Brad's lively keyboard style has also brought many a smile to the face of a b'nai mitzvah child .
